Catholic Crossing is the ministerial website for Fr. Brian Wideman.

He is a Roman Catholic priest of the Diocese of Green Bay. He attended St. Meinrad Seminary & School of Theology in southern Indiana from 2008-2014, earning an MA in Catholic Philosophical Thought, a Masters of Divinity (MDiv), and an S.T.B. in a joint program between St. Meinrad and St. Anselmo in Rome. He was ordained by Bishop David L. Ricken at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay in 2014. Fr. Brian’s undergraduate degree is a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Music from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee.

His first assignment was in 2014 as Parochial Vicar for St. Bernadette and Sacred Heart parishes in Appleton, Wis. In 2016, he was appointed Administrator of St. Clare Parish in Askeaton, Greenleaf, and Wrightstown, and then in 2019 as Pastor of the same. In 2025, Fr. Brian was appointed Pastor of St. Gabriel Parish in Neenah, Wis., where he currently serves.
